Bereavement Support
“We will always be here for you, before, during and after a funeral”
We are happy to help you in contacting trained bereavement counsellors should you require their services to help you through the difficult times following a bereavement.
Throughout history, it has been the custom to honour the memory of those we love by erecting a lasting form of memorial. A memorial becomes a permanent symbol of remembrance and therefore it is important that the design, wording and material are chosen with care.
Memorials are available in all styles and of every type of stone.
You may wish for something more bespoke or individual. We are pleased to employ the services of very experienced and talented stonemasons.
Our highly regarded masons work from fully equipped workshops and are able to work in all types of stone. Memorials can be made to virtually any design, from a hand carved bass guitar to a Romany wagon, anything is possible, and are produced quickly, and at much less cost than might be imagined.
We Are Here To Help You
Increasingly people are making their own funeral arrangements in order to ease the upset and create less decision making for those left behind. Many choose to make their own funeral arrangements in advance to guarantee their own wishes for their funeral.
You may wish to pre-arrange and pre-pay for your funeral. This guarantees that your wishes will be taken into account and will also guarantee the funeral directors fees at today’s prices. You may also make a payment towards third party costs (disbursements) such as crematoria/cemeteries, doctors and ministers fees.
All payments made are placed into a secure fund and are only made available to us in the event of the death of the plan beneficiary. If our company should, for any reason, cease to trade, your money is safe.
The added benefit of the fund is that, if you should wish to move away from the area, you may still use the pre-arranged funeral in most areas of the U.K.
The Funeral Arbitration Scheme
- The vast majority of funerals are carried out to the satisfaction of clients.
- The National Association of Funeral Directors, through its Funeral Arbitration Scheme, provides a dedicated procedure for clients who feel they have not received the service they desired.
- The first stage is for the client to contact the funeral director to resolve the issues they have about the service received. If the client is unable to reach a resolution of the issues with the funeral director, they should then contact the Funeral Arbitration Scheme at 618 Warwick Road, Solihull, West Midlands B91 1AA which provides independent conciliation and arbitration through the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
